Your Trainer...

You may not know that we have a few dogs at class working to become herding champions. One that is half way to her second herding championship and begun the quest for her third.

There are some at class now that may earn their first herding championship this year and do not realize how close they are. This is because of the hurdles they must first overcome to get there. Not understanding that champions are made, formed by powers greater than ourselves. Molded by challenges, hurdles they must overcome that  produce an inner change, educating the soul on what it takes to rise above it all, then testing the spirit of those that have taken up the challenge.

I encourage you to take this voyage. Persevere and keep getting up. Learn and go at it again. Step on the excuses because that is where they belong, under your feet. You can become greater than you are today if you do not give up on tomorrow. Wait and that tomorrow may never come.

Class hours...

Class hours  are  listed below. What I want to call your attention to is the pm time. It is only valid when no one is out and I am not expecting anyone else. It represents when I will put the sheep away and leave if I am out there alone and do not know that you are coming out.

Perris 11:00 am till 5:00 pm
Anaheim 11:00 am till 5:00 pm
Long Beach 11:00 am till 7:00 pm

All locations have lights. On rainy weather days lights will not be used and class will stop just before dark. Otherwise, we will continue after dark if participation warrants it.

Your editor...

T
his edition is going to be up on the web tonight October 1, 2008. It has been a very hot, hot day. Now that it has made it to evening I am still sitting here typing as the perspiration drips from my body. The humidity is near the limits of my endurance.

One more trial and one more victory. That is how it is done. At some point you have transformed into a victor. A smaller one as I have neglected to have dinner. That works for me also. Why else carry this extra weight if I have no intention of drawing on it from time to time.
