Brags... Chet and Matt had a very big weekend up in Lodi at the Inland ASCA trial, October 3,4. They finished their Started duck and cattle titles with 2-1st , 1- 2nd, and 1- 3rd placement. Then got to work with Open sheep Matt still was not finished as he and Katie went to work getting legs in Started ducks, sheep, and cattle. Completing her started cattle title. Having completed her started Sheep title she went right in and collected a open sheep leg.
Matt collected compliments from the judges such as "Your patience is an
attribute and will take you far" and the one I am must proud of as their
trainer " Nice team work, dog works with you and
that's a big plus". Tess- WTCH Tess HTD-IIIs, HTADIIIs, HRDIIIs that same weekend was down at Tenaja earning legs in both AKC HX A and B courses on sheep. October 25, and 26 out at Llona at the Antelope Valley stockdog trial she competed in both the A and B courses completing her AKC HXAs title with a four placement with a score of 87. Over the last 30 days she has run on 4 different course earning three Advanced titles in two different organizations and gathered 2 AHBA championship points. Now that is a hard working gal! Christmas 4 Dogs...![]() Is on again this year, I am happy to announce. I got this picture of Santa as he was finishing up his vacation. It will be held at the Stonewall Ranch, December 30th, no matter what kind of weather we draw. We always have a good time. Curley Ortiz will be manning his BBQ again and vows to start it earlier than last time. If you have a dish you would like to add to this pot luck please do so. See page 4 for more details. One change will be if you have more than
one dog (which is free) then the other dogs in the same family which used
to be $10 will be
$15.
