Panel Day...( well done! )

Panel day was a success although we were very short on volunteers Ellen, Penny's husband Carl , Margaret, myself, Mary, Matt , and Dena got the work done.

May's Class Newsletter late...

You might wonder why the Class Newsletter's May issue was a couple of days late. The reason is that I was off trialing. from Friday May 1st till today May 3rd. It was well worth the few day's delay. See Pic's brag on the next page.

From AHBA...

  Wanted to let everyone know that the new system is up and we will be
inputting to it this week and ironing out any bugs that are found. It will be
WONDERFUL and will certainly speed up and improve the whole recording data and certificate system. Since we won't have to type in most data (as long as dog,
owner, etc are in the system) and the fact that the computer will generate the
certificate - there will be much less chance of typos. However, what we would
ask (and please pass the word at trials, etc) is to ensure complete information is given on the recording sheets - dog name, owner name, reg. #, etc.

Please don't use dog's call name once, then registered name - same with owners -
try and stick with one name (not like Sue, Susan, Susi, etc).

Now, we do ask that everyone be patient for a couple of months. We are
currently caught up on those trials where recording sheets have been sent to Linda
Rorem (well, as of a couple weeks ago).

However, we will not be doing any new input until we can get all the past year's data (two huge boxes) input - so that the system can recognize all that data and use it. So, those earning titles recently will have to be patient for a little while, until we can get done with the old. We will go as fast as we can - but this is not a primary
job.
