Weather...
January has been cold and wet. Have
several layers of jackets, a scarf and socks with you. February is traditionally a wet month. We continue
to hold class and we probably will end up trialing in these conditions. We
should be ready for it, that is if you have come out on the bad weather
days!
A reminder that we will not put out the lights on rainy days, so we stop
at dark.
Global Warming...(more errors!)
U.N. climate chief Rajendra Pachauri. Five glaring errors were discovered in one paragraph of the world's most authoritative report on global warming.

DELHI - The head of a panel of United Nations climate scientists said
Saturday he would not resign despite a recent admission that a panel
report warning Himalayan glaciers could be gone by 2035 was hundreds of
years off.
The claim, made in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's
voluminous, Nobel-winning report, came in a paragraph with several
errors.
Format for Brags...
Dog’s call name-dog's formal name complete with the
titles it has already earned (before this brag)-followed by the new
accomplishment, type of trial, where and when. Then, additional comments
if you have any. Then who handled and then the breed of dog.
Example: Dog- Sir Dog UD, HX- earned his WTCH at anybody’s trial at any date, anywhere, with me handling. (any breed)
Many of you know that at dog clubs it is tradition that
you donate to the club when making a brag: here it is free! Will you at
least provide me with all the information I need?

This BCCGLA trial at the T.A.S.K Farms Top C Ranch in Leona Valley, Ca
provided a host of challenges. Different sized (with left and right hand
drive) arenas and a B course ducks run on a sloping hill. He also came
away with 3rd and a 5th place ribbons and 4 HX legs, two of which
where on advanced B course ducks. Border Collie owned and handled
by Jerry.
