New 20010 Class Prices... What I have done is to make the price of a senior dog ( $25) the same as if they were a second dog, in some cases they are. The new price sheet is available at class. The only price change for 2010 is the price for us ( Matt or I ) handling
your dog at class which will be $40. Was $38. Your trainer...( managing ) You know I run the class, handle dogs, judge and write the Class Newsletter. Had you given any thought to how the classes exist? Yes, it takes more than what I have already listed. The budget is a big item, both the present and the future budgets. On one hand, are things going as projected last year for this year?. On the other, what does the crystal ball say will be the changes for next year? What adjustments to the price structure have been made and what adjustments need to be made trying to make sure that the pain of any increases has been spread equally in the historical prospective. I almost blew it this year (we were looking at a deficit) but the price of hay dropped enough during the last half of 2009 to bring that budget closer to balancing. Then there is the rotation of the sheep between the classes during the correct seasons of the year. Why ? To wean the lambs, breed the ewes, to keep the sheep honest for training and help the sheep maintain their health.
