News Bits...

* Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want

* It ist true that the cattle in Argentina produce more global warming in one day than the US does in one year.

*Gas prices are coming down. I have heard of two stations at $3.99 and have seen one at $4.02 and filled up my tank at $4.03

*Did you notice that the amount of time that there is daylight is getting shorter?

*Hay prices still have not come down, still $15 a bale.

*I have arranged for the use of the Bobcat again for this years pen day.

*Torn Pads.  Lissa found some at a vendor   Buy Silvadene online in 1% cream; cheap drug prices and information

* Sales of the Herding Class handbook "Now What?" edition are going fine especially when compared with class attendance.

* I have been told by Jerry Stoner that the 4 Sale sign at the Stonewall ranch is coming down.. Buyers are not able to qualify in this current credit crunch.

This is just a heads up, premiums will be coming out shortly.  Mark your calendars for September 20th and 21st, 2008; TASK Farms will be hosting 4 AHBA trials over these two days.  Each day will have an HTDA and HRD course.  The entry is limited to 30 dogs per trial. 5head will be offered on the HTDA and 10 head will be offered on the HRD course. All Stock will be Katadin X sheep.
